A security team was required to man the gates during the day and provide nighttime patrols for the building of a 286,000 sq.ft. warehouse, commercial and office development at 44550 South Sumas Rd/6388 Unsworth Rd,  Unable to find a reliable local contractor with enough employees to cover the site, Cameron formed his own security team, and then spun it into a separate provincially licensed company that started providing security services to neighboring property owners, other developments in town and eventually even took on the downtown BIA security patrol contract. Legacy Pacific Security Ltd also developed a small base of alarm accounts, primarily with tenants of company owned buildings, but also with other local businesses.
